The first batch looked as if a toddlers thumb had run itself through it. But with a sleeping baby and dinner all ready to go I gave it another try. This time I added less jam and actually followed your recipe making the cookies smaller. Much better second time round, although not as pretty as yours, I'm satisfied with the outcome!
